printCIF - TeX support CIF supports the use of plain TeX in data items. If the first two characters of a data value are %T (following a semicolon) then the entire data value is treated as plain TeX code, e.g. _cif_data_name ;%T Some plain \TeX{} ; printCIF will not include any such data in the RTF preprint. However, if you have a version of TeX on your system, it is possible to process and preview any plain TeX in the CIF. To setup TeX previewing: 1. Edit the batch file 'tmptex.bat' (in the printCIF folder) to ensure that the correct command lines to run TeX and view dvi files are included. 2. Tick the 'Enable TeX previewing...' check box in the Options dialog (Tools... menu of the CIF window). To preview TeX: 1. Highlight the plain TeX in the CIF window (only include the TeX - do not include the data name or %T). 2. Press ALT and \ (backslash)
