Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is located approximately 15 miles (22 km) south of Seattle. The Gray Line Airport Express provides frequent shuttle service between the airport and downtown hotels. Ticket cost is approximately $7.50 one way or $13 round-trip. Tickets may be purchased from drivers or from ticket booths located in the baggage claim area of the airport. Reservations prior to arrival are not necessary. Buses depart every 30 minutes, between 6 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. Phone: 206-626-6088. Taxi service from the airport to downtown hotels is approximately $35 one way. Metro bus line 194 operates from the south end of the terminal to downtown Seattle from 4:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sundays. Fare is about $1.60. Metro bus lines 71, 72 and 73 provide convenient connections from downtown to the University District, with a stop at Terry-Lander Residence Hall. A car is not necessary for participants staying in downtown hotels.

Pedestrians may enter the Convention Center Galleria on Pike or Union between 8th and 9th Aves. The main entrance to the Convention Center garage is on 8th Ave. between Seneca and Pike Sts.
Travel to University of Washington Residence Halls
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is located approximately 20 miles (30 km) south of the University of Washington campus. Campus housing will be provided in the Terry-Lander Residence Hall. SuperShuttle provides door-to-door service between the airport and the residence hall for $21 for the first passenger. For two or more persons traveling together, the charge for each additional person is $7. To request a pick-up, use one of several courtesy phones located on the baggage claim level (dial 48). Reservations cannot be made prior to arrival. SuperShuttle operates 24 hours per day.
