Dear CEPites,

   I shall attend a meeting of the Promotions Committee on the evening
of Tuesday 28th August in Krakow. If you wish me to raise any matters or
making any comments please let me know before that Tuesday (assuming I
shall be able to read e-mail in Krakow). I leave for Krakow on the early
morning of Friday 24th August.

PS for Lachlan:
   As yet I've done nothing about the hardware for IUCr 2002. Maybe I'll
have some news by the time I get to Krakow.
