EUSIDIC Spring Meeting 2003
17-18 March 2003, Renaissance Hotel, Karlsruhe, Germany

Information Policies in a Complex World 
- ownership, access, e-legality, security, technology, asset management....


Preliminary Announcement:
EUSIDIC Spring Meeting 2003 will be held in Karlsruhe, Southwest Germany 
on 17th -18th March 2003. The Meeting will consider current legal, technical, 
commercial and policy issues surrounding digital content and the effects on all 
parties involved.
Proposed discussion topics are:
- EU Directive on copyright (2001/29 EC) and resultant national legislation
- Digital rights management
- E-commerce regulations
- Encryption
- Managing information as an asset
- Balancing ownership of intellectual property and access to information 

If you have an interesting presentation, case study or a provocative view on 
these topics the Conference Programme Committee we would like to hear 
from you. Please send the EUSIDIC Secretariat a short summary of about 
200 words by 30 November 2002.
