I've posted a few notes on an interesting JISC meeting at

    http://www.iucr.org/resources/data/meeting-reports/jiscmrd-2011

Perhaps the most obvious thing to come out of the workshop was the
extent to which practice in managing research data is still very
variable across disciplines and different institutions; but I do
think JISC does a very good job of consciousness-raising in the UK
HE/FE communities; and not at all a bad job of mobilising reasonably
purposeful activities.
