[SA_scat] Neutrons and Food 2014, 9-11 July 2014

Dear Colleagues,

After Sydney (2010) and Delft (2012), "Neutrons And Food" is back, from Wednesday 9th (afternoon) till Friday 11th of July 2014 in Paris at the "La maison du lait".

It will be preceded by an introduction to Neutron Scattering and a visit of the reactor Orphée at the French National Center for Neutron Scattering (Laboratoire Léon Brillouin) at Saclay, nearly 30km from Paris, for interested attendees.

A satellite meeting at LLB is also programmed from Monday 7th (afternoon) to Wednesday 9th of July on Neutron Imaging.

Key dates are:
17 February 2014: opening of the registration
18 April 2014: abstract submission deadline
16 May 2014:  early registration deadline
15 June 2014: registration deadline

We choose to keep the same session organization as the previous two conferences:
Carbohydrates / lipids/ Proteins/ Glassy state /Packaging / Foams and Emulsions / Drinks and beverages / Dairy / Encapsulation

During Wednesday 10th of July, afternoon, Hervé This (INRA) will make an introduction to the "Note by Note Cooking".
