Marie Curie - Post-doctoral position in: Intelligent Structuring Systems for Complex Flowing Products

The Consorzio Interuniversitario Per Lo Sviluppo Dei Sistemi A Grande Interfase (CSGI) is partner of
the European Project "ISSFLOW (funded Programme on Academia-Industry Partnership Pathway),
which involves 5 European academic and industrial partners and it is coordinated by Procter &
Gamble (P&G, Belgium).

CSGI is looking to recruit and experienced researcher. The position will be
based at The Consorzio Interuniversitario per lo Sviluppo dei Sistemi a Grande Interfase, Florence,
Italy, for 24 months.

The Recruit should possess spectroscopic skills, as neutron and X-ray scattering, confocal microscopy,
fluorescence and photocorrelation spectroscopy. Moreover, knowledge in the area of colloidal
chemistry, soft matter, colloid characterization will be appreciated.

The candidate should have a PhD degree in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering
or Materials Science or at least 4 years full-time equivalent research experience post degree. The
candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of training or supervising others.

The candidate should NOT have resided or carried out his/her main activity in Italy for more than 12
months in the 3 years immediately prior to his/her recruitment. Short stays such as holiday are not
taken into account.

This position offers generous remuneration (gross amount of Euro 58.500,00 per
year) and includes a monthly mobility allowance based on the family status of the candidate.
