Polymer NanoComposite and Nanostructured Material Research
Opportunity!

Wanted: An energetic scientist with interest in the development of
polymer-inorganic nanostructured materials to join the Air Force
Research Laboratories' Nanostructured Materials research team. Current
emphasis areas include 1) establishing a fundamental understanding
processing-structure-property relationships of polymer-inorganic
nanostructured systems through development of new in-situ scattering
techniques and models and 2) characterizing the morphology of complex
core-shell nanostructures and developing techniques to achieve
three-dimensional control of particle arrangement on meso, micro and
millimeter scales for photonic systems. Extensive facilities and expertise
are available for collaborations. US citizenship or permanent resident
status highly desirable. Please forward a short vita and Dr. Rich Vaia at
937-255-9184; richard.vaia@afrl.af.mil for more information.
