Post-Doctoral Position for SANS Applications
 
Argonne National Laboratory


Argonne National Laboratory is a premier US scientific research and
development organization located 20 miles southwest of Chicago. A
post-doctoral position is immediately available at the Intense Pulsed
Neutron Source (IPNS) Division to participate in the small angle neutron
scattering user program. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree awarded
within the last 2 years in any one of the biological, physical, engineering
sciences.  The successful candidate will participate in the ongoing research
projects on the phase behavior of block copolymers, protein and RNA folding
and structure of nanocomposites using SANS and Synchrotron SAXS.  Experience
in neutron and x-ray scattering applications in condensed matter research,
analysis software development and instrument development will be desirable.
Postdoctoral positions at Argonne are for one-year increments, renewable up
to three years.
