End Date 26th Nov 2014
Description The European Synchrotron Light Source workshop (ESLS) is an annual event designed to give the synchrotron community the opportunity to keep abreast of new developments taking place in facilities throughout Europe.

The XXII European Synchrotron Light Source workshop will be hosted by the ESRF on 25th and 26th November in Grenoble, France. The workshop programme will cover all relevant aspects of the design, construction, operation and improvement of synchrotron light sources.  It will focus on storage ring based sources and will be divided into four parts:

- Engineering frontiers for new projects (magnets, girders and mechanical engineering) proposed as a topical subject,
- Short talks highlighting recent developments,
- Two overview talks to be chosen within low emittance projects, user requirements and points of views, reliability etc.

Participation in the workshop is free of charge.  As is the custom, the ESRF will cover two nights' accommodation for up to two participants from each institute.
