The position needs to be filled by summer of 2008. Applicants must have a PhD in either Physics or Materials Science and be experienced with neutron or x-ray scattering techniques performed at national facilities. Interest in single crystal growth and sample preparation will be useful. The successful candidate will be involved in projects that include magnetic frustration and multiferroicity in garnets and spinels, and magnetoresistive oxides.
