Hello all - This is basically in reply to Peter's query: > I'd be very grateful for the following basic resources: > > - latest (old-style) mmCIF. (+ list of core items). Basically > what we'd like to do is scan through it and abstract the terms > which represent data items (rather than semantics). Paula, > is there a copy we can download? > > - one (or more) CIFs in the (old-style) format. I think we have at > least insulin and HIVP, but also a lot at NDB? There really isn't anything *new* in terms of dictionaries since the "review" version of the mm dictionary was posted at the IUCr and Columbia some months ago. I have (as per our agreement in Brussels) merged the current core and mm dictionaries, but I am awaiting the final (what an optomist!) DDL before implementing any real changes. I will post a new version as soon as I have them, but for right now I find myself in the very unusual position of waiting on other people rather than having them wait on me. As for example files, Rutgers is probably the best source for onces that have not previously been circulated. Be well - Paula ******************************************************************************** Dr. Paula M. D.
