Hi..

Sorry for the delay in responding to this units issue.    The latest DDL paper for the
core dictionary has done away with the units extension.  Instead, DDL 1.4 uses a units
code much like DDL 2.   As I understand it, the core dictionary will shortly be recast
in DDL 1.4.  I hope that Brian will correct this if I am incorrect on this.  I do not
know what the plan is for maintaining compatibility with the old units mechanism but
I believe that it may have been a feature that was used very little in the existing
collection of small molecule CIFs.
