Back in action

Hello folks -

I'm back from my trip, and I've sorted my way through almost all of what was
waiting for me on my desk when I returned last Tuesday.  Hence I am ready to
start dealing with CIF issues again.  I'm pleased to see that all of you have
been beavering away in my absence.

My plan is to deal with as many of the small issues as I can today, and then
Helen and John and I will be meeting tomorrow afternoon to try and tackle the
more complicated questions.

What I will do today is to answer questions as I deal with them - this
will mean lots of little messages for you guys, but since it makes my life
easier, I prefer this approach to a more comprehensive one.  I will be
implementing changes as I answer to messages, but there won't be a new
release of the dictionary until after we meet tomorrow.
