IUCr 1995 Report - ICSU Committee on Capacity Building in Science (CCBS)

This Committee met in Paris, France, on 21 June 1995 at the ICSU Headquarters. On this occasion, the outstanding problem discussed was the needs of scientists in developing countries; the Visiting Professorship Programme and schools supported by the IUCr were deeply appreciated. An excellent feature of that meeting concerned the active interactions with Chairmen of Teaching Commissions of other scientific societies.
