Special Issue on Crystal Engineering

[MOFs]

Acta Crystallographica Section B is also publishing a series of special issues in celebration of IYCr2014 and, having extended its subtitle to Structural Science, Crystal Engineering and Materials last year, it is fitting that the first of these should highlight the fundamentals of crystal engineering. Guest-edited by Andrew Bond (U. Copenhagen, Denmark), the issue gives a clear indication of two main areas where crystal engineering is now being applied, namely pharmaceutical solids and metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), emphasising the commitment of IUCr Journals to publishing cutting-edge research in crystal engineering through Acta Crystallographica Section B.

The issue is available free online at http://journals.iucr.org/b/issues/2014/01/00/issconts.html.
