[Covers]

The 2016 impact factors have been released by Clarivate Analytics, and IUCr Journals (http://journals.iucr.org/) now occupy the top three positions in the Crystallography category.

IUCrJ, established in 2014, saw its impact factor increase to 5.8 from 5.3; Acta Cryst. A: Foundations and Advances to 5.7 from 2.3; and Acta Cryst. C: Structural Chemistry to 4.1 from 0.5. The impact factors of other journals also increased significantly: Acta Cryst. F: Structural Biology Communications from 0.6 to 0.8 and the Journal of Synchrotron Radiation from 1.9 to 3.0.

Editor-in-chief, Samar Hasnain, commented, 'We thank our authors, reviewers and over 200 editors and co-editors for their continued commitment to ensuring that the best crystallographic science is reported in IUCr Journals. We are particularly indebted to our authors who continue to place their trust in IUCr Journals. We look forward to building on this success and working towards further improvements in our impact and influence.' For more details, please see http://journals.iucr.org/services/impactfactors.html.
