    The dimensions of a list, array or matrix of elements expressed as
    a text string. A Matrix with a single dimension is interpreted as
    a vector.

Examples:

[3,3] 3x3 matrix of elements.
[6] List of 6 elements.
[] Unknown number of list elements.
