Molecular design for some novel molybdenum(tungsten)-copper(silver)-sulfur clusters is reported. The following clusters have been synthesized and characterized (1) Two novel octanuclear clusters [Et4N]4[M4Cu4Sl2O4] (M=Mo, W)

(2) Two novel dodecanuclear clusters [M4Cu4Sl2O4(CuTMEN)4] (M=Mo, W and TMEN=N,N,N',N'-Tetramethylethylendiamin).

(3) The novel double-chain cluster [S2WS2Ag(NH3C(CHOH)3(H2O)n.
