Due to numerous requests the following policies will be implemented:
PEOPLE WHO PLAN TO ATTEND THE CONGRESS AND WANT TO MAKE A POSTER
PRESENTATION IN ADDITION TO AN INVITED OR CONTRIBUTED TALK:
Any
participant paying full registration, has the privilege of presenting
one paper (oral or poster). If the fully registered participant wishes
to present an additional poster, there will be a charge of $80.00 per
additional poster to cover costs of abstract processing, poster board
rental, etc.
No one will be allowed to make an oral presentation on behalf of another if they are already scheduled to give an oral presentation themselves.
PEOPLE WHO WILL NOT BE ATTENDING THE MEETING, BUT HAVE ASKED SOMEONE WHO IS
ATTENDING TO PRESENT THEIR POSTER:
Anyone who will not be attending the
meeting and who wishes to have poster space reserved so that someone
else can present a poster on their behalf, will have to pay a fee of
$80.00, for each contribution, by April 15, 1996.
FIRST AUTHOR RULES:
Only one oral presentation of original
research results will be allowed per person. All those who submit more
than one abstract as first author, must either pay full registration and
additional abstract fees before April 15, or submit a completed
registration form with at least a $80.00 deposit for each additional
abstract.
If the first author of an abstract has not paid the appropriate registration fee by April 15, 1996, a contributed paper cannot be scheduled for oral presentation and poster space will not be reserved for it unless special arrangements are made directly with the Program Chair William Duax.
ABSTRACTS FOR PUBLICATION ONLY:
No additional fee will be charged for abstracts submitted for
publication only. Abstracts for publication only will be limited to one
per person. If you are not going to attend the Congress but wish to
have the abstract considered for publication in the abstract book,
please notify the Secretariat at: marcia@hwi.buffalo.edu by April 15,
1996.
TRAVEL GRANT APPLICANTS:
People who have indicated that attendance at the Congress is uncertain
and/or dependent upon a travel grant award, must pre-register with a
completed registration form and a $80 deposit by April 15, 1996.
The deadline for registration is June 1, 1996.
