Student Bursaries

Application deadline for bursaries is May 30th, 2006

Thanks to the support of the School Sponsors a limited number of bursaries are available for young scientists (graduate students, post-graduate students or post-doctoral fellows with a maximum age of 30).

The bursary is 300 Euros, dedicated to pay the accomodation cost (which includes shared accomodation and meals), thus reducing the fees to 200 Euros.

Application deadline for bursaries is May 30th 2006. A short CV, including full address, age, gender and position together with a letter from the supervisor should be sent to Marcello Mellini (mellini@unisi.it) and to Paola Spadon (paola.spadon@unipd.it).

After confirmation, applicants will be required to pay the due amount within the normal registration deadline, June 30th 2006.

The Organising Committee of the "Basic School in Crystallography" shall observe the basic policy of non-discrimination and affirms the right and freedom of scientists to associate in international scientific activity without regard to such factors as citizenship, religion, creed, political stance, ethnic origin, race, colour, language, age or gender, in accordance with the Statutes of the International Council for Science.

At this School no barriers will exist which would prevent the participation of bona fide scientists.
