IUCr 1996 Triennial Financial Report - Research and Education Fund

Table 13 shows the accounts of the Research and Education Fund (REF). The fund was also established in 1984 and, like the PJDF, has been built up through transfers from other funds. As for the PJDF, this fund is currently increased by 6% per year, taken from the interest income, with the goal to make it self-supporting. CHF 223200 was given as young scientists' support during the triennium.
