6th ALMA Conference 'painting as a Story' and 2nd CrysAC Workshop

Paintings change even after being painted. Significant changes affect their identity and authenticity. The conference will focus on interdisciplinary case studies observing the transformation of paintings in time and from any perspective. Topics for discussion will mainly be:
(i) the processes of material degradation,
(ii) „life stories" of artworks in the light of historical vs. analytical facts,
(iii) restoration and preservation of modern art
