Workshop on Diffuse Scattering and Structure Simulation

This workshop is designed to teach users of crystallographic structure solution software how to interpret diffuse scattering and to simulate disordered crystal structures. Defects are quite common in crystals and are responsible for a number of properties such as ionic conductivity, electronic properties etc., so an understanding of these defects and how they affect the diffraction of the sample is important.Â

The workshop is limited to 30 attendees.Â
