Virtual ePSIC User Science Meeting

On behalf of the electron Physical Sciences Imaging Centre (ePSIC) at Diamond Light Source, we are pleased to announce the ePSIC User Science Meeting will take place virtually, on Wednesday 9th September 2020

This one-day meeting will be an opportunity for ePSIC users to share their innovative scientific research with the both the ePSIC user base and wider scientific community. The meeting will take place between 10:00-16:00 (BST) and will be hosted online via Zoom. Attendance is open to anyone interested in hearing about the latest research from ePSIC.

The meeting will primarily be a collection of invited research talks with time for discussions. Confirmed speakers include:

  • Alexander Korsunsky (University of Oxford)
  • Sarah Haigh (University of Manchester)
  • Peng Wang (Nanjing University)
  • Ryan Wang (UCL)
  • Sean Collins (University of Leeds)
  • Chen Huang (University of Oxford)
  • Manfred Schuster (Johnson Matthey)
Speakers will talk about their research at ePSIC, with topics such as scanning electron diffraction, electron ptychography, in-situ heating and multi-scale correlative imaging between the electron microscopes and X-ray beamlines. The program will also include an update of new and future ePSIC capabilities, along with a Q&A session with ePSIC staff.
