Powder patterns can be read in from:
Philips APD ASCII files
PC-APD files
Raw data files
WYRIET input files
UXD (Universal X-ray Data) input files
Reads powder pattern data from powder files (default ext POW)
Writes powder pattern binary data files (ext PAT)
