The Zurich School of Crystallography 2024: Bring Your Own Crystals
| - |
In University of Zurich, Switzerland
The Zurich School of Crystallography teaches small-molecule single-crystal X-ray structure determination. The School will consist of lectures, computer exercises and practical work. The School is ideal for anyone for whom a knowledge of small-molecule crystal structure analysis would be particularly helpful in their current research. The goal is that the participants gain hands-on experience plus a theoretical
background in the art and science of routine crystal and molecular structure determination of small molecules by single-crystal X-ray crystallography, as well as in the interpretation and presentation of results. Participants will collect data and determine the structure of one of their own compounds that they are currently interested in, as well as working with data sets that demonstrate routine and a range of more challenging situations.
