IUCr Congress

The triennial congresses of the IUCr are the major international scientific meetings for crystallographers world wide. Each congress includes one or more sessions of the General Assembly which approves the policies of the Union.

It is the policy of the IUCr that strong emphasis should be given to provide a programme that is balanced with respect to gender and nationality.

Korea will host XXIX Congress in 2032

Korea won the bid to host the 29th IUCr Congress and General assembly in 2032 in Incheon, Korea. 

The 28th Congress will be taking place in Berlin in late August 2029.

Submit your research to the 2026 IUCr Congress Collection

Researchers presenting at the 27th IUCr Congress in Calgary, Canada, are invited to submit their work to a dedicated IUCr Journals online collection showcasing research presented at IUCr2026.

Researchers who presented a talk or poster at IUCr2026 are eligible to contribute to the collection.
