Wellcome-MRC in situ Cryo-ET Workshop 2026

To expand capacity this year, the course will be delivered across two in-person locations, Diamond Light Source (Oxford) and the Astbury Centre (Leeds), with lectures also broadcast online via Zoom.

This course, part of the Wellcome/MRC cryo-EM training programme, is designed for students and postdoctoral researchers interested in applying cryo-ET and cryo-FIB in their research. It will feature lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practicals covering sample preparation, FIB milling, lamella preparation, data collection, processing, and more.
