Koyasan Training Course

Koyasan University and Tentokuin Temple

5 August - 9 August 2019

A training course on symmetry and group theory as part of the programme of the J-Physics 'Monodukuri' School, led by Professor Massimo Nespolo, Université de Lorraine, France. The lectures were given in Japanese to 50 students. The stated goal was for the students to acquire a systematic and deeper understanding of symmetry and group theory, and to build a foundation for their research in condensed matter physics. All the participants stayed overnight at the Buddhist Tentokuin Temple next to Koyasan
