Distinguished Lectures on Quantum Crystallography and Complementary Fields
The next two online lectures in the monthly series of Distinguished Lectures on Quantum Crystallography and Complementary Fields will be presented on Thursday 27 October 2022 at 16:00 CET. Register here to attend.
- Lecture 14: Parthapratim Munshi (Department of Chemistry, School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University, Delhi, India): "On the Potency of Polymorphic Bioactive Molecules: A Quantum Crystallographic Perspective".
- Lecture 15: Marcus A. Neumann (Avant-garde Materials Simulation Deutschland GmbH, Merzhausen, Germany): "Detecting and avoiding disappearing polymorph cases by crystal structure prediction".
The lectures are free and open to everyone. Each lecture is expected to last around 35 min with up to 15 min for Q&A.
These lectures are organised under the auspices of the IUCr Commission on Quantum Crystallography and the European Crystallographic Association SIG 2 on Quantum Crystallography with support from the Department of Chemistry of the University of Warsaw (Poland) and the Crystallography Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Previous lectures in the series can be watched here.
