Distinguished Lectures on Quantum Crystallography and Complementary Fields

The next two online lectures in the monthly series of Distinguished Lectures on Quantum Crystallography and Complementary Fields will be presented on Friday 5 May 2023 at 16:00 CET. Register here to attend.

Lecture 25: Anders Madsen (University of Copenhagen, Denmark): "Dynamic Quantum Crystallography: Thermal motion in crystallography seen through a quantum-mechanical looking glass"

Lecture 26: Rebecca Nicholls (University of Oxford, UK): "Phonon vibrations probed using the electron microscope"

The lectures are free and open to everyone. Each lecture is expected to last around 35 min with up to 15 min for Q&A.

These lectures are organised under the auspices of the IUCr Commission on Quantum Crystallography and the European Crystallographic Association SIG 2 on Quantum Crystallography with support from the Department of Chemistry of the University of Warsaw (Poland) and the Crystallography Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Previous lectures in the series can be watched here.
