Distinguished Lectures on Quantum Crystallography and Complementary Fields
The next two online lectures in the monthly series of Distinguished Lectures on Quantum Crystallography and Complementary Fields will be presented on Thursday 16 March 2023 at 16:00 CET. Register here to attend.
Lecture 23: Ángel Martín Pendás (University of Oviedo, Spain): "Is the one-particle approximation biasing our interpretation of real space chemical bonding descriptors? The cases of the Laplacian of the electron density and the electron localization function"
Lecture 24: Michele Ceriotti (EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland): "Physics-Based Machine Learning of the Electron Density"
The lectures are free and open to everyone. Each lecture is expected to last around 35 min with up to 15 min for Q&A.
These lectures are organised under the auspices of the IUCr Commission on Quantum Crystallography and the European Crystallographic Association SIG 2 on Quantum Crystallography with support from the Department of Chemistry of the University of Warsaw (Poland) and the Crystallography Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
