International Year of Quantum Science and Technology

2025 marks 100 years since the development of Quantum Mechanics, a breakthrough that reshaped our understanding of the world. To celebrate this milestone, IUCr Journals presents a focused issue on Quantum Crystallography, bringing together cutting-edge research from across our journals.

Edited by Paulina Dominiak, Angel Martín Pendás and Krzysztof Woźniak, this collection highlights quantum crystallography as a composite research area at the intersection of crystallography, quantum chemistry, structural biology, materials science, solid-state physics and applied mathematics.
