Bursaries

The deadline for bursary applications is extended to June 3rd.


A limited number of bursaries will be available for students attending the School. The precise number and nature of the awards is dependent on the levels of sponsorship that the organizers can attract, but we hope to be able to provide some fully funded places at the School for students from less-advantaged parts of the world, as well as some awards which will give partial funding. 

In order to qualify for a bursary, applicants will be expected to present a poster at the School. It is expected that they will use the same poster that they will be  presenting at the IUCr XXII Congress that follows the School.

In order to apply for a bursary, you will need to send the following information to Laura Roces

  • a current CV
  • a letter of support from your supervisor or Head of Department 
  • an abstract for your poster (using the abstract template from the IUCr XXII website)

Applicants from the European Crystallographic Association region may be eligible for extra funding, provided that they
