Pre-conference workshop on Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH) for life sciences (5th of June)

This workshop will take place in Caen, France. Â The training will cover many aspects of "Combined Analysis" by X-ray and neutron scattering ranging from fundamental requirements to technically relevant industrial and academic applications, including diffraction techniques, phase analysis, electron microscopy and the use of MAUD software.

The symposium consists of lectures from world-leading scientists working in the area of correlative microscopy with light, electrons, and X-rays. The aim is to inform the community of the latest developments in correlative microscopy, and for the community to discuss and feed back its requirements for correlative microscopy development and provision in the UK.

The meeting is dedicated to microscopy of materials comprised of both organic and inorganic constituents (in close proximity) and is aimed at bringing together experts from both the life science and materials science communities to address this challenging and increasingly important topic.
