2026 Ig Nobel Prize-winning researchers Ramaswamy Subramanian, Leonard Chavas and Nathan Coussens were among the authors of a remarkable study that revealed how naturally formed protein crystals in the viviparous cockroach Diploptera punctata challenge conventional ideas about protein crystallization.
