The aim of this symposium is to provide a forum for researchers to present and discuss the developments and improvements of experimental characterization techniques, computational tools, theoretical models and codes for data fitting in the field of radiation damage. Special focus will be given to techniques, protocols, and methodologies allowing damage quantification. The coupling of experimental and computational characterizations will also receive particular attention.

 This is a one day event with EMBL Cryo-EM Platform users presenting their results. In addition, there will be a session on new technologies for cryo-EM grid preparation.

This meeting is part of a series held once in 3 years to bring together
people working on diverse aspects of membrane biology. A unique feature of
this meeting is the intense discussion and scope for collaboration. This
will be its 12th edition and will be co-organized by young members of the
Indian scientific community.

A two-day event at Michigan State University to celebrate the grand opening of the new cryo-EM facility

The event focuses on XFEL and Cryo-EM science.

The Francis Crick Institute will host a two-day symposium exploring the impact of electron microscopy on biomedical research across scales, with a focus on correlative imaging. We have an exciting line-up of talks from imaging scientists at the cutting edge of correlative microscopy development and application, from macromolecules to whole organisms, and from biomedical scientists who apply these techniques to reveal new insight into health and disease. The symposium follows the 2017 Crick EM Opening Symposium, which united researchers and technology developers from the high-resolution single particle cryo-EM through to the large-volume brain imaging communities, with more than 350 attendees and a large hands-on exhibition from more than 20 commercial collaborators.

The 2nd CryoNet Annual Symposium will highlight the latest discoveries in protein-nucleic acid complexes along with a view to the future of cryo-EM. Alongside presentations on important biological results will be exciting methodological advances emphasizing that cryo-EM is still in a major growth phase.

The VU Amsterdam and the Dutch Crystallographic Society (NVK) will host a 1-day Structural Biology Symposium. During this one day symposium new results and key questions and issues in structural biology and imaging will be addressed, in particular:

• High-resolution 3D structures of macromolecules and macromolecular complexes using X-ray diffraction, Cryo-EM and Electron microdiffraction
• Protein-Protein and Protein-Nucleic acid interactions
• Drug design
• Diffuse Scattering

This one-day scientific symposium will highlight the role cryo-EM can
play in the drug discovery process. Leaders in the biopharma industry
will highlight their successes and experiences utilizing this
