We are delighted to invite you to the VII Latin American Crystallographic Association (LACA) Meeting and the XXVII Brazilian Crystallographic Association (ABCr) Meeting, taking place in Fortaleza, Brazil, from October 14–17, 2025. This joint event brings together researchers, students, and professionals from Latin America and around the world to explore the latest advances in crystallography and structural sciences.

Our diverse scientific program includes plenary lectures, keynote talks, thematic microsymposia, and poster sessions covering topics such as structural biology, materials science, pharmaceuticals, quantum crystallography, synchrotron and neutron techniques, and more. A highlight of the event is the LACA-ABCr School from October 13–14, 2025, a pre-meeting initiative designed to provide young scientists with hands-on training and theoretical insights into essential crystallographic methods, fostering the development of the next generation of crystallographers in Latin America.

The Polish Crystallographic Meeting, Scientific Workshop and Session of the Young Crystallographers Sections of PCrA will be held at the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, ul. Okólna 2 in Wrocław.

The Workshop is devoted to selected issues and problems of modern crystallography.

The Scientific Session of the Young Crystallographers Section of PCrAÂ is a forum for exchanging experiences addressed primarily to students, PhD students and young doctors (maximum 5 years after defense).

The topics of the Meeting include basic and applied research on the ideal and real structure of crystals carried out with the use of X-ray radiation obtained both with traditional methods and in synchrotrons, research with the use of neutrons and electrons, problems of symmetry, phase transformations and crystal growth, new research and computational methods and all other aspects of crystallography. The conference is an annual meeting place and a forum for exchanging ideas of all Polish crystallographers.

During the inauguration of the 66th Polish Crystallography Meeting, the winners of the 6th National Crystallography Olympiad will be decorated: http://olimpiadakrystalograficzna.pl.

Crystallographers from different countries will meet at the annual Croatian-Slovenian (Slovenian-Croatian) crystallographic meeting to present their work and exchange ideas in multiple areas of research involving crystallography. The 30th consecutive meeting is organized jointly by the Croatian Crystallographic Association, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology and the University of Ljubljana under the auspices of the Department of Mathematical, Physical and Chemical Sciences of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

The official language of the meeting is English.

There is NO registration fee.

The 5th National Crystallography Meeting is organized by the National Crystallography Society. The National Crystallography Society was founded in 2001 at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. The aim of our association is to organize the professional, cultural and social activities of the members, to support education in the field of crystallography, to contribute to the understanding, development and dissemination of Crystallography in Turkey and to carry out scientific activities and publications in this field. Our Association is a member of the European Crystallographic Association (ECA). During the meeting, in addition to the presentations of internationally recognized invited speakers, both oral and poster presentations of the participants will also take place.

First announcementÂ

In collaboration with the IUCr and the African Crystallographic Association, the Senegalese Association of Crystallography is organising its first «Cristal Ã"» day at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University Cheikh Anta Diop.

This day is under the direction of Claude Lecomte, Emeritus Professor at the University of Nancy Lorraine, France; former Vice-President of the IUCr; and Chair of the Steering Committee for the IUCr Crystallography in Africa initiative.
