Hello all, as for the plenary speaker, I also agree with Garib. Not that Walter would not give an interesting and attractive talk, but as the last pleary was also on charge flipping, I think that another topic is desirable this time. As for the suggestion for microsymposia: The electron structural crystallography is getting again in vogue, and I think one MS (possibly joint with electron crystallography commission) could be devoted to new algorithms and/or software available specifically for this application. The title could sound simply "Algorithms and software for structural electron crystallography" Regards Lukas Palatinus Institute of Physics, v.v.i., Czech Academy of Sciences Cukrovarnicka 10, 16200 Prague 6, Czech Republic tel.: +420220318462 harry powell wrote: > Hi folks > > I should bring this to your attention - bear in mind I have been told > separately that the deadline is 20th *January*, not 20th February as > below, i.e. next Wednesday. > > If you have any suggestions, feel free to e-mail them to Enrique > directly, but if you could CC: them to me, it will help when I attend > the IPC meeting in May (since I would want to support any suggestions > coming from this Commission!). > > >> From: Michael Dacombe [mailto:execsec@iucr.org] >> Sent: January 13, 2010 5:27 AM >> To: Joe Schrag; Pamela Whitfield; Lachlan Cranswick; James F. >> Britten; T.
