The XXV IUCr Congress was a hybrid meeting, with physical delegates assembling at the Prague Congress Centre, joined by participants worldwide using a virtual platform. This montage of images from the Opening Ceremony demonstrates the effectiveness of a Congress like no other, which still achieved great scientific impact and significant personal interactions.
