COMPCOMM logo competition.

Around 2 years ago - on the list of things to do (which included
the On-line newsletter) was to get an informal competition going
to try and get a good looking logo for the Computing Commission.

No one objected at the time - so would it be OK to get on the
case with this - and have a CompComm logo competition.
With the Siena 2005 school coming up - it would be good to
also include this for logo submissions. The BCA seems to
be very good at these logo competitions - and it would be
interesting to see what people come up with.
(Newsletter priorities stopped this happening in the past)

If no-one objects, I will get on the case with this on the weekend.

Lachlan.

PS: Intended rule is that participants retain the copyright of their
art - but by submitting to the competition they are giving the IUCr
Computing Commision the right to make unrestricted use of their
art as a log. Unless someone has a better and non-intimidating
suggestion that would not alienate possible submissions?
