Hi All,

A quickish Email updating Computing Commission members and
consultants on what is happening.

---------

Current status and information on the Mieres 2011 computing school
webpage is not linked but visible at the following address:

----------

As to the zero replies with respect to possible Computing Commission
newsletter themes and volunteer editors, I will be editing a 2009
newsletter with a 9th November deadline on "Age Concern" mainly
focussing on Small Molecule single crystal programs. This would not only
contain an author article, but also obtain technical documentation on
ageing programs for archiving. Following issues could then relate to
protein, powder and other areas of crystallography. However, people can
still suggest alternative themes and be volunteer editors for a 2010
newsletter(s).

Authors who have tenatively agreed to provide articles follow:

Lachlan

David Brown - CIF update

Mustapha Sadki (Oxford Age Concern group) - new structure refinement code

Dick Marsh - CRYRM

David Rae - RAELS

Kenneth Muir - GX

Ton Spek - Platon

Joe Riebenspies - quick and dirty crystallographic programming

R.A.G. de Graaff - CRUNCH

Hai-fu Fan - DIMS

Pierre Wolfers - MXD

Luc Bouris, Judith Howard and the Durham Age Concern group - age concern
