might be slightly clearer as:

;              Observed diffraction point symmetry, systematic absences
and 
               possible space group(s) or superspace group(s) compatible
with 
               these.
;

 i.e. add "point", change "it" to "these" and allow space group(s) as
well as 
     superspace group(s).

 OK for the rest.
