[dddwg] RCSB Protein Data Bank Comment on ESRF data policy article

As the Director of the RCSB PDB (one of four Worldwide Protein Data Bankpartner organization jointly responsible for managing the global PDBarchive),I am pleased to see that ESRF will take responsibility for archivingprimary experimental data plus associated metadata from its variousbeamlines.
Given the highly centralized nature of X-ray data collection in themodern era, this solution both makes sense technically and promises to serve the public good by making the data available after the 3-yearembargo.
