CoreCIF dictionary version 2.2 released

Version 2.2 of the Core CIF Dictionary for inorganic and small-molecule
structures has been posted on the IUCr web site in ASCII and html versions
at 
     http://www.iucr.org/iucr-top/cif/cif_core/index.html
and corresponding pages on accredited IUCr mirrors. The dictionary file is
available directly by anonymous ftp as 
     ftp://ftp.iucr.org/pub/cif_core.dic

Formatted versions are available as PostScript
     ftp://ftp.iucr.org/cifdics/cif_core_2.2.dic.ps
and PDF
     ftp://ftp.iucr.org/cifdics/cif_core_2.2.dic.pdf
files.

This release adds a small number of new data items permitting the reporting
of bond valence values.
