Rigaku has an immediate opening for a motivated application scientist to join the Life Sciences group in our North American headquarters, located in The Woodlands, TX. The candidate must have a PhD degree in a relevant field and have previous experience in structural biology X-ray methodologies such as protein crystallography and small angle X-ray scattering of macromolecules. Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, must be able to manage projects and deadlines effectively, and should possess both a strong customer service ethic and strong technical troubleshooting skills. Additionally, candidates must be prepared and able to travel without restriction to X-ray facilities throughout North America and internationally. Fluent English is required but does not need to be your first language. Preference will be given to scientists with hands-on experience in the use and maintenance of X-ray systems, experience with teaching and a high level of aptitud
 e in X-ray diffraction and scattering methods.
