Dear colleagues,
I would like to inform you about a postdoc position in my team at the
P03/MiNaXS beamline (DESY), for which I am seeking candidates. The
position is intended for beamline development and to pursue a rigorous
inhouse research programme in the field of nanoscience of functional
materials with special focus on surfaces and interfaces. The intended
starting date is 1st January, 2015. Please find attached the job

The position
- Participation in development of micro- and nanofocusing techniques at
P03/MiNaXS
- Development of sample environments for in-situ and in-operando
investigations of functional coatings
- User support at P03/MiNaXS
- Pursuing a rigorous in house research programme in the field of
nanoscience of functional materials with special focus on surfaces and
interfaces

Requirements
- PhD in physics or equivalent qualification
- Interest in synchrotron beamline developments
- Experience at 3rd generation synchrotron sources is highly desirable
- Experience in surface coating technologies
- Experience in SAXS & WAXS
