The Neutron Scattering Division (NSD) at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, USA has an opening for a scientist to develop the science case, physics and technical design, scope, cost and schedule associated with new SANS instrumentation. Thereafter, to lead the team responsible for the design, fabrication, and installation of a new SANS instrument at the SNS Second Target Station. The successful applicant will also be expected to pursue individual and collaborative scientific research using the existing SANS instrument suite at ORNL.
