My email client (a MIME enabled version of elm) does not recognize your
attachment as an attachment.  As you point out, certain list servers mess
with or do not allow attachments.  As I pointed out in a previous post
to this thread, FORTRAN source files are plain text and do not need to
be MIME encoded.  Why not just post the code in the body of the message?
